INSTALLATION NOTES

• The factory screen comes out; the new display mounts in its place with the supplied bracket
• The factory screen cable connects to the supplied video box
• The supplied power harness goes between the CIC head unit and its connector; the factory head unit stays in the car
• Sound from the new screen plays through the car's speakers via the AUX input, using the supplied AUX cable
• After install, set the factory screen resolution in the settings menu to match your original screen size (6.5" or 8.8")
• The harness has an RCA camera input; a camera is not included

CHECK YOUR SYSTEM BEFORE ORDERING

• Your car must have the CIC iDrive system. CCC, NBT and NBT EVO cars need a different kit
• CIC cars have MENU, BACK and OPTION buttons plus RADIO, CD / MEDIA, NAV and TEL buttons around the iDrive controller. Older CCC cars have only a MENU button next to the controller
• The system follows the build date: CIC replaced CCC on most models in late 2008 (2009 model year) and was replaced by NBT from mid-2012 to 2013. Cars from a changeover year can have either system — your VIN tells us which
• 3 Series F30 and 5 Series F10 from 2013, X3 F25 from 2014 and 7 Series F01 from 2013 have NBT — see our NBT kit
• Cars without a factory center screen need a different kit. If your car has a screen but no factory navigation, enter your VIN and we confirm the kit before it ships
• This kit is for left-hand drive cars
• Each BMW model uses its own bracket and harness — enter your VIN on this page so we send the right one
